1st July 2009, AREVA: The global leading power engineering company AREVA granted their "TOP AREVA supplier" award to 141 out of a total number 8.800 German companies. AREVA created the award program to give greater visibility to the quality of its relationships with its suppliers. To receive this award, suppliers have to comply with about 25 different criteria. This includes topics such as quality, competitiveness, competence of innovation and long-term relationship with its business partners. Tight standards and safety regulations and guidelines for occupational health and safety have to be fulfilled. In addition,- commitment to sustainable development and environmental protection are important criterias. |
