For about 15 years, we emphasize on the production of special machines for the finishing of casting, the aluminum industry, and abrasive materials.
Many developments have been launched in the 1950s, such as the first bandsaw machine for metals, the first flexible saw blades and the first automatic feed unit.

For now 20 years Mössner is focused on the design and manufacturing of special purpose machines and special bandsaws. From this time on, Mössner also has been cooperating extensively with universities. Mössner systematically developed new machines for the finishing of castings, like automatic bandsaw machines with robot integration which were the basis for today’s fully automatic finishing lines. Based on the systematic development of research and development Mössner was able to evolve from a manufacturer of Standard Bandsaw Machines to a supplier of high-tech turn-key lines.

Latest developments in information technology, sensor technology and control engineering are integrated continuously into the machines.

Since moving into new buildings in 2000, Mössner responded to the growing worldwide demand with increased production and growing turnover. 50 % of all products are exported worldwide. In 2002 Mössner was certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000.
