Bandsaws technology for cutting plates and blocks
Example of an installation with horizontal and vertical bandsaw machine
Plates are cut out of slabs or blocks fully automatically in different thicknesses. The blocks are fed in, positioned and clamped. Then the blocks are cut into different cuboids by CNC-program. Therefore the sawblade is turned by 90°. The plates are taken off by large vacuum clamping plates and stacked. The machine works fully automatic, has CNC-control and is supervised by laser. The stacks of plates are finally cut to different sizes. The bandsaw for vertical cuts is a versatile machine and can also be used to cut larger blocks into smaller ones.

Horizontal bandsaw |
|

|
|
Typical performance horizontal bandsaw:
- Ingot size: up to 3000×2000×800 mm
- Plate thickness: programmable, with minimum plate thickness 19 mm
- Material removal rate: bis 6000 cm²/min
- Flatness: better ± 0,5 mm
