Bandsaw technology for automated cutting of samples: With the saw for sample cutting it is possible to take automatically samples out of each charge. The parts are transported by a conveyor belt to the bandsaw and clamped by holding-down devices. The sample pattern is programmed. Cuts in X- and Y direction (cutting of saw blade guidance) are made. The sequence of scrap and samples is defined in the programm. Samples and scrap are separated, samples are transported by conveyor belts and scrap is pushed by a slide into containers. Typical cutting process: (1) Cuts in X-directions are made (2) Sawblade is turned by 90° (3) Cuts in y-directions are made (4) Saw blade guidance is turned by 90° |
