In robotic deburring, two approaches are common:

Tool Guidance:
The tool is mounted on the robot’s sixth axis. The robot moves it along the machining path on the fixed workpiece. Advantage: suitable for heavy parts, limited space, or longer cycle times. Drawback: tool changes may affect cycle time.

Workpiece Guidance:
The robot grips the workpiece and moves it past fixed spindles, band saws, circular saws, pneumatic tools, or belt grinders. Advantage: quick change between processing stations. The robot also handles loading and unloading tasks.
