We recently completed the setup of six robotic bandsaws for a customer in the die casting industry. The image shows the machines at our facility in Eschach, just before delivery.

These bandsaws will be integrated directly into the die casting cells. They can replace coarse trimming operations or reduce the required press force. Compared to circular saws, bandsaws generate less chip waste and allow for contour-close cutting. This also provides greater flexibility in designing the gating system.
