In this video, we show the loading and buffer area of our slab saws.

After the slabs have been transferred, they are picked up by a shuttle. Automatic downenders are also available.

The shuttle is used to transport slabs and T-bars over longer distances or between individual plant sections. Particularly in the input and output areas, it is used for transporting, loading and unloading buffer locations.

The shuttle moves on low-maintenance crane rails. This ensures robustness and a long service life under the demanding conditions in the foundry.

The lifting system for picking up the slabs can be hydraulic or electric, depending on customer requirements.

Mössner slab saws are in operation worldwide. Adapted to different customer requirements, rolling slabs and T-bars are reliably cut to size.

The sawing technology is used in both primary and secondary aluminium production.
