Today we would like to introduce 2D Measuring Systems:

To record height profiles, we use the Cognex In-Sight laser profiler. This system allows complex measurements and inspections of profiles and surfaces along a line. In contrast to conventional cameras, the height profile here is generated by a laser profile cut along the height of the component. Thus, the height information of the surface along the laser line of the considered workpiece is obtained.
