Did you know? In the 80s, Mössner ventured into CNC technology and Robotics.

An innovative development was the first fully automatically programmable CNC contour saw for Aluminium castings. The highlight of this saw was the Laser that taught in the saw contour, which was then transformed in the control to saw the component automatically.

The CNC saw developed by Mössner was considered an absolute novelty on the world market. This development was the corner stone for Mössner’s entry into CNC technology and Contour sawing using band saws.

In 1988 the first Robot solution was implemented. This area is still one of our most important business segments today. Already in 2011, Mössner was able to integrate the 1000th Robot system within a Mössner plant. So far, various handling tasks, palletising, drilling, sawing and milling could be carried out with industrial robots.
